Ressò wins first prize for Architecture at the Solar Decathlon Europe 2014

The Ressò team, consisting of 50 students from the Vallès School of Architecture (ETSAV) within the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona Tech (UPC), has won first prize in the Architecture section and third prize in Town Planning and Society out of the ten tests within this international competition on sustainable homes: Solar Decathlon Europe 2014.


This year’s competition is being held in Paris, in the Cité du Soleil at Versailles, and involves 19 teams of university students from 16 countries on four continents. Ressò is the only Catalan team that will compete and, together with another group of students from the University of Castilla-La Mancha and the University of Alcalá, they are the only two representatives for Spain.
