Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas and CGN Delingha Solar Energy Corporation have recently signed an (Owner’s Engineer) OE contract, after China CSP developer launched a competitive tender process. Delingha project is a 50 MW solar thermal parabolic trough power plant. The project will include a solar field of about 190 loops and will have a thermal storage in molten salts equivalent to 1300 MWh. This plant is expected to be in operation in the next 2 years. This solar plant is located in Delingha, capital of the Haixi Mongol.
Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas’ portfolio exceeds 1,000 MW in international renewable energy projects. The firm, with offices in Spain, United States, and in China, has successfully developed projects in more than 22 countries.
One of their most recent accomplishments came with winning a bid to construct a concentrated solar plant in Ouarzazate; the first stand-alone thermoelectric solar energy project in North Africa, as well as Bokpoort project in South Africa. Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas provides with a wide range of integrated engineering services for the energy generation industry, as well as advanced owner’s engineering and technical advisory for large energy projects especially with technologies such as CSP, PV, Wind, Hydro and Cogeneration Systems.
