Pattern Energy Group LP (Pattern Development) has awarded GES the complete BOP for its PV plant Conejo. The PV plant is located only 30 km east of Taltal in the Antofagasta Region. The project includes the complete BOP works: PV plant, substation and switching substation construction, as well as the high voltage transmission line of 15 km between both substations. This is the largest solar project GES has ever executed and will be one of the largest solar plants in Chile, where the solar market is developing very fast.

GES has been a pioneer of the renewable industry in Chile. The company began the construction of its first wind farm back in 2011. This ended up with the establishment of a South America hub in Santiago.

FuturENERGY
GES is still the leading energy service provider for the wind industry in Chile, where the Spanish service provider has constructed 332 MW wind capacity in the last 5 years. With the addition of this 122 MW for the solar activity, GES is becoming the unquestionable leading renewable services provider in the country.
