The third edition of Mexico WindPower 2014, the most important international wind energy Exhibition and Congress in Mexico, run by GWEC and AMDEE together with EJ Krause, will take place between 26th and 27th February in Mexico City’s Banamex Centre. The congress will focus on wind energy, which is currently competitive against other, conventionally generated energy technologies in many parts of the world; Mexico has great potential in wind energy, since this technology is gaining a lot of weight in the Mexican energy mix, with 1,370 MW already in operation and the potential for 12,000 MW of wind energy over the next 8 years.
One of the positive impacts that this would have for Mexico is on investment and jobs; if this secures sustained growth, it would be possible to launch a complete industry with the entire value chain.
The congress will also have over 5,000 m² of exhibition space for products and services for the wind energy industry, where leading suppliers in the wind industry value chain will be present.
There will also be a meeting for Mexican and foreign experts who have developed both technologies and successful solutions in the wind energy field.
The event will provide the occasion for unique networking opportunities, including receptions, lunches and a gala dinner, as well as break-out events run before and during Mexico WindPower.
