TgP has advised that the transport of LNG to the coast has now restarted
TgP, the Peruvian gas transport company, announced in the early hours of 6 May that the repair works have been completed on the Camisea LNG pipeline at kilometre marker 183, situated in the district of Anco in Ayacucho.
In an official communication, the company stated that it had already started phased transport of liquid natural gas (LNG) to the coast.
The company’s technical team were able to repair the poly pipeline in less time than estimated, thanks to both technical and weather conditions.
The poly pipeline had broken on 30 April, resulting in a LNG leakage in the district of Anco.
