A forecast by ABI Research predicts the market to reach at least $39.5 billion by 2018. This guide is the first comprehensive vendor-neutral smart city handbook for city leaders and planners, designed with input from leading smart city and urban planning experts. The guide covers economic development, energy, telecommunications, transportation, public safety, and water and wastewater barriers.
