As with 2013, 2014 has been a difficult year for renewable energies in Spain. The reason can be attributed to the current regulatory system, which has resulted in almost non-existent implementation of new projects for the installation of renewable technologies in our country. This situation has impacted on the activities undertaken at CENER that has been created as a technological centre exclusively dedicated to R&D+i and the provision of technological services with a high added value for all the agents in the renewable energy sector.
Fortunately renewable energies are enjoying a huge stimulus in the rest of the world, and this has meant a significant geographical diversification of our activities on the international stage.
